Harriman hike, 2/12/2005

Five of us met at the Red Apple Restaurant and drove to a trailhead in Harriman State Park. We started the hike along a trail with blazes consisting of a red triangle within a white square. At a point called the Lemon Squeezer, we switched to the Appalachian Trail. The Lemon Squeezer (a narrow pass through rocks) was somewhat icy; some went through it and the others walked around it. We then returned to the parking lot via the AT. At the end of the hike, a light snow started to fall.
