Green-Wood Cemetery, 4/30/2006

Carol and Priscilla led nine of us on a three-hour walk through Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn. We saw parrots nesting, occasional glimpses of the Manhattan skyline and the Status of Liberty, and Lenny Bernstein’s headstone.

You are not allowed to eat inside Green-Wood Cemetery, so most of us had brunch afterwards at a nearby Mexican restaurant.
